Journalist from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello of Caracas, Venezuela. He has also studied Social Sciences and Journalism in the Universidad de Chile. His professional development has been associated to the spheres of advertisement, journalism, political marketing, public and government affairs, and communications consulting.The latter is closely related to the creation of his company, ICC-CRISIS, founded in 1989. He has advised more than 290 companies and institutions, both in the public and private sector, from a wide range of lines of business, and he has contributed to the Nation Branding Strategy for Chile from the very beginning. He has received several awards and participated as a judge in different contests and festivals. He is the co-author of the book “Elecciones, manual del candidato”, together with the Spanish authors José Luis Sanchis and Marcos Magaña.

Master in Political Science at Universidad Católica of Chile (“Academic Excellence Award” for the highest grade of his generation), Master in Communications, Journalist and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communications of the Universidad Diego Portales. He has worked in consulting, strategy and management with nearly 100 public and private companies, foundations, institutions and associations in the sphere of Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Crisis Management, Internal Communication, Branding, Research and Planning.
He is author and coeditor of the book “Chile Corporativo: el desafío de conectar con el Chile ciudadano” (2019).
He frequently participates in the media by writing op-eds and giving interviews.
He has worked as a professor of undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
